At an early age of 7, he would perform during school talent shows and after school concerts. Knowing his talent he dreamt of becoming a big artist like others such Buju Banton and Sizzla. In 2007 after performing at a party POPCAAN was asked to join the Portmore Empire, where he would be working and mentored for Vybz Kartel.
